Manufacturing Engineer Read and correctly interpret blueprints, process instructions, bills of material and fully understand the machining and the manufacturing process for the creation of new quotes and the development of shop routers Ensure that NPI (New Product Introduction) tooling is available Monitor equipment and tools necessary to perform the required NPI operations Maintain and update the ECR/ECO database Correctly identify and check existing shop routers for correctness and modify as needed and enter and interpret data on production records, logs, and other reporting forms for process improvement Customer and Supplier interface as required for manufacturing process and/or outside services Qualifications Minimum of 10 years work related experience in a manufacturing and machine shop environment required Standard PC skills required (MS Office, etc) Work experience and familiarity with material requirement planning, shop floor control, bills of materials, costing and engineering control database systems required NC Programmer: Create optimal CNC programs for Mazak Integrex machines. In addition, daily activities will include creating setup sheets, machine setup to prove programs, and configuration control of all technical documents. Customer interface is required to review designs for manufacturing, clarify customer requirements, and participate in process development projects. Basic knowledge of Feature CAM (or G-code programming language), Solidworks, and GD&T is required. Knowledge of both turning and vertical axis milling required. Five years experience preferred. Setup Technicians/ Senior Machinists: Set up first time run jobs and train operators to efficiently run jobs. Work with engineering to prove processes. This includes EIA and Mazatrol program validation and editing, work holding validation, measuring method establishment, and tool setup. Run complex 3 to 5 axis machining operations on high alloy materials. Knowledge of Mazak integrex machines preferred. Experience machining high nickel and CrMn materials required. 10 years experience required. |
